Plant & Office Networks
Wired networks and Wi-Fi for production floors, warehouses, and offices, planned from a wireless site survey of the actual space.
01 — Manufacturing
Manufacturing
Production depends on systems that cannot go down in the middle of a shift: the ERP and MES servers that schedule and track work, the plant network that connects equipment and scanners, and the security that keeps an office-side incident from reaching the floor.
Licht Data designs, builds, and operates that infrastructure for manufacturers across Southern California.

02 — What We Handle for Manufacturers
Plant and office infrastructure, managed by one team.
Wired networks and Wi-Fi for production floors, warehouses, and offices, planned from a wireless site survey of the actual space.
Production equipment and controls kept on separate networks from office users, guests, and cameras, with controlled remote access for equipment vendors.
Servers, databases including SQL Server, storage, and backups for the ERP and MES systems that run production. We manage the infrastructure; your ERP or MES vendor supports the application.
Redundant server and storage designs for systems where a single hardware failure would stop production.
Veeam backups with cloud recovery on AWS or Microsoft Azure, with restores tested on a schedule.
IP cameras and door access control for plants, warehouses, and offices, installed on their own network segment.
Next-generation firewalls, endpoint protection, and security monitoring across plant and office networks.
Cloud phone systems with desk, conference, and mobile phones for office and plant staff.
03 — Why Manufacturers Work With Licht Data
Maintenance and changes are planned around shifts and production schedules, with a rollback plan written before work begins.
Network, servers, security, cameras, and phones are designed and managed by the same senior engineers, so problems do not fall between vendors.
We operate the infrastructure of a manufacturing facility that runs more than 15 hours a day, where maintenance windows are short.
Support is available in Korean and English, and we coordinate directly with headquarters IT on standards and security policies.
04 — Manufacturing Project
For a 60,000 sq ft manufacturing facility that runs more than 15 hours a day, Licht Data delivered Cisco Wi-Fi 6, a network divided into five segments, Fortinet security, structured cabling, high-availability servers, SQL Server management, Veeam backup with AWS disaster recovery, IP surveillance, and a USLink Cloud PBX with Cisco desk and conference phones.
Licht Data continues to operate the environment as a managed service.
We also support other manufacturers across Southern California.
Serving businesses across Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties from our headquarters in Irvine.
05 — Manufacturing IT FAQ
We build and manage the infrastructure they run on: servers, databases, storage, network, and backups. Your ERP or MES vendor continues to support the application itself, and we coordinate with them.
Production equipment is placed on separate network segments from office users, guests, and cameras, with firewall rules between them and controlled remote access for equipment vendors.
Yes. Maintenance and changes are scheduled around shifts, with a written rollback plan before work begins.
We start with a wireless site survey of the floor and warehouse, then adjust or add access points and settings based on what the survey shows.
For critical systems we design redundant servers and storage. Backups are tested on a schedule, so systems can be restored from a known-good copy.
Yes. IP cameras and door access control are installed on their own network segment and managed with the rest of your infrastructure.
Yes. Support is available in Korean and English, and we coordinate directly with headquarters IT on standards, domains, and security policies.
It depends on the number of sites, users, and devices, the production systems involved, and your security requirements. We review your facility and give you a written quote.
