Warehouse Wi-Fi for Scanners
Wi-Fi for handheld scanners and mobile computers across aisles, racking, and loading docks, planned from a wireless site survey of the actual building.
01 — Logistics & Warehousing
Logistics & Warehousing
Warehouse operations depend on systems that have to work through every shift: Wi-Fi that keeps handheld scanners connected across the floor, the WMS and ERP servers that track every order, the mobile devices drivers rely on, and the network that links each warehouse to the office.
Licht Data designs, builds, and operates that infrastructure for logistics and distribution companies in Southern California and other states.
Calls are answered 24/7. Response times are set in your service agreement.

02 — What We Handle for Logistics Companies
Warehouse, fleet, and office infrastructure, managed by one team.
Wi-Fi for handheld scanners and mobile computers across aisles, racking, and loading docks, planned from a wireless site survey of the actual building.
Servers, databases, storage, and backups for warehouse management and ERP systems, with secure access from every site to ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics. We manage the infrastructure; your WMS or ERP vendor supports the application.
Warehouses and offices connected over SD-WAN or site-to-site IPsec VPN, with business internet circuits ordered and coordinated for each location.
Phones and tablets for drivers and warehouse staff enrolled in mobile device management, with apps and security settings set centrally and remote lock and wipe for lost devices.
IP cameras covering docks, yards, and warehouse floors, plus door access control, installed on their own network segment.
Cloud phone systems with call queues for dispatch and customer service teams, extension dialing between sites, and phones for warehouse and office staff.
File servers shared across sites, with Veeam backups and cloud recovery on AWS or Microsoft Azure, and restores tested on a schedule.
Next-generation firewalls, endpoint protection, and security monitoring for warehouses, offices, and remote users.
03 — Why Logistics Companies Work With Licht Data
Warehouses in other states reach the same ERP, file servers, and phone system as your main office, over SD-WAN or site-to-site VPN.
Coverage is planned from a site survey of the actual floor, racking, and docks, not from a floor plan alone.
Changes are planned around shifts, receiving, and shipping windows, with a rollback plan written before work begins.
Support is available in Korean and English, and we coordinate directly with headquarters IT on standards and security policies.
04 — Logistics Project
For a 98,000 sq ft warehouse in Jamaica, New York, Licht Data connected the site to the company's California location over a site-to-site IPsec VPN, giving the warehouse team access to Microsoft Dynamics ERP and shared file servers.
Licht Data also deployed a cloud PBX with extension dialing between New York and California, and installed the facility's CCTV system.
We also provide warehouse Wi-Fi, WMS servers, driver device management, dock and yard cameras, multi-site SD-WAN, and customer service phone systems for other logistics clients.
Serving businesses across Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties from our headquarters in Irvine, with support for sites in other states.
