02 — What Is Included

Everything Your Business Phone System Needs

One provider for the phone platform, the phones, the numbers, and the network they run on.

Cloud PBX

Extensions, ring groups, voicemail, and business-hours and after-hours routing, managed centrally on the USLink Cloud PBX platform. There is no on-site PBX to maintain.

Auto Attendant & Call Routing

Department menus, time-of-day rules, and fallback destinations. We can also produce professional voice prompts and music on hold that match your brand.

Call Center

Call queues, call recording, and agent dashboards for teams that handle high inbound call volume.

Microsoft Teams Integration

Connect your business numbers to Microsoft Teams so staff can make and take calls from Teams.

Mobile & Desktop Apps

Use your business number from a smartphone or computer, in the office or on the road.

Business Texting (SMS)

Send and receive text messages from your business number.

IP Phones

Cisco, Yealink, and Poly desk and conference phones, configured and installed by our team.

SIP Trunking & PRI

Keep an existing on-premises PBX and connect it with SIP trunks or PRI lines.

Numbers & E911

Port your existing numbers, add local and toll-free numbers, and register E911 addresses for each location.

03 — Voice on a Managed Network

Phone Systems Built on a Managed Network

Call quality often depends on the network as much as on the phone system. Because Licht Data also designs and manages business networks, voice is planned as part of the network: a separate voice VLAN, PoE switches for the phones, quality-of-service policies, and backup internet through SD-WAN with 5G/LTE so calls continue if the main circuit fails. Failover is documented and tested, not assumed.

04 — Replacing a Legacy PBX or PRI

Replacing a Legacy PBX or PRI Lines

Many businesses still run older digital phone systems, such as Panasonic, or PRI lines from the phone company. We plan the move step by step:

  • 01Inventory of numbers, extensions, and call flows
  • 02Porting of existing numbers
  • 03Phone and network readiness check
  • 04A written cutover procedure, tested before go-live

Where keeping a PRI is still the lowest-cost option for your business, we will tell you.

05 — Voice Projects We Have Delivered

Voice Projects We Have Delivered

Nationwide Geo-Routing for 1,000+ Numbers

A U.S. consumer electronics company moved more than 1,000 DIDs and voice endpoints to a unified SIP platform. With one week left before cutover, Licht Data built a custom AWS-hosted routing application that sends toll-free calls from more than 40 states to the right area manager. Monthly voice costs are down by more than 50%.

Cloud PBX for a 60,000 sq ft Manufacturing Facility

USLink Cloud PBX with Cisco 8841 desk phones and Cisco 8832 conference phones, a branded auto attendant with professionally produced prompts and music on hold, and voice traffic on its own network segment.

Serving businesses across Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties from our headquarters in Irvine.

06 — Business VoIP FAQ

Business VoIP FAQ

Can we keep our current phone numbers?

Yes. We port your existing numbers to the new system and coordinate the port date with your cutover plan.

Do we need to buy new phones?

Not always. Compatible IP phones can often be reused, and we confirm this model by model. When new phones are needed, we install Cisco, Yealink, or Poly phones.

What happens to our calls if the internet goes down?

Calls can be sent to mobile apps or other numbers when an office is offline, and offices with SD-WAN can switch to a backup connection, including 5G/LTE. The failover path is documented and tested during setup.

Can our staff make calls from Microsoft Teams?

Yes. We can connect your business numbers to Microsoft Teams so staff can call from Teams on desktop or mobile.

Do you support call centers?

Yes. We set up call queues, call recording, and agent dashboards, from a small team to a multi-seat call center.

How much does a business phone system cost?

It depends on the number of users, the phones you need, call center features, and the internet and network already in place. We review your current bills and call flows and give you a written quote — including when keeping your existing service is the lower-cost option.

Is E911 included?

Yes. We register an E911 address for each location as part of setup.

Who supports the system after installation?

Licht Data does. Calls are answered 24/7, and response times are set in your service agreement.
