Guest & Staff Wi-Fi
Guest Wi-Fi with a sign-in page and bandwidth limits, kept on a separate network from staff devices, POS terminals, and cameras, and planned from a wireless site survey.

Hospitality
Guests notice when the Wi-Fi drops, a room phone does not work, or a card payment will not go through. Hotels, restaurants, and franchise locations depend on networks, phones, and payment systems that work every day at every location.
Licht Data designs, builds, and operates that infrastructure for hotels, restaurants, and multi-location franchise brands.
Calls are answered 24/7. Response times are set in your service agreement.

02 — What We Handle for Hotels and Restaurants
Guest-facing and back-of-house infrastructure, managed by one team.
Guest Wi-Fi with a sign-in page and bandwidth limits, kept on a separate network from staff devices, POS terminals, and cameras, and planned from a wireless site survey.
Point-of-sale terminals on their own network segment, separated from guest Wi-Fi and office devices, which helps reduce the scope of PCI DSS assessments.
Hotel phone systems integrated with your property management system (PMS): room phones turned on at check-in and restricted at check-out, wake-up calls, call charges posted to the guest folio, guest names shown at the front desk, and room status updated from the room phone.
Room phones set up to dial 911 directly, without dialing 9 or another prefix, with the front desk notified of each 911 call and the street address and room information sent with the call.
Restaurants and stores connected over SD-WAN, with LTE or 5G backup internet so card payments can continue when the main line goes down.
Cloud phone systems for every location, with call routing, after-hours messages, and existing numbers moved over.
IP cameras for lobbies, entrances, dining rooms, kitchens, and parking areas, plus door access control, installed on their own network segment.
Next-generation firewalls at every location, managed centrally with the same security policy, plus endpoint protection for front desk and office computers.
03 — Why hospitality companies partner with us
Each new store or property gets the same network, security, and phone setup, so every location is installed and supported the same way.
POS systems stay on their own network, apart from guest Wi-Fi and staff devices.
Installs and changes are scheduled before opening or after closing, with a rollback plan written before work begins.
Support is available in Korean and English, and we coordinate directly with headquarters IT on standards and security policies.
04 — Hospitality projects
For a hotel in Long Beach, Licht Data installed a VoIP phone system integrated with the hotel's property management system.
Room phones were turned on at check-in and restricted at check-out, wake-up calls were scheduled through the system, call charges were posted to guest folios, guest names were shown at the front desk, and housekeeping updated room status from the room phone.
For multi-location franchise brands, Licht Data provides guest Wi-Fi, POS network separation, SD-WAN with LTE and 5G backup internet, store phones, security cameras, and centrally managed firewalls.
Serving businesses across Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties from our headquarters in Irvine, with support for sites in other states.
05 — FAQ
Yes. We integrate hotel phone systems with property management systems for check-in and check-out, wake-up calls, call charge posting, guest name display, and room status. We confirm which integration your PMS supports before installation.
Yes. Guest Wi-Fi, POS terminals, staff devices, and cameras should be on separate network segments. Keeping POS separate also helps reduce the scope of PCI DSS assessments.
Phone systems installed since February 2020 must let callers dial 911 without a prefix such as 9 and notify someone on site, such as the front desk (Kari's Law). 911 calls must also carry a dispatchable location, such as the street address and room (RAY BAUM's Act). We set up both when we install or update your phone system.
We add LTE or 5G backup internet, so the network can switch to the backup line and card payments can continue.
Yes. We plan the technology for opening a new location: the same network, Wi-Fi, firewall, phone, and camera setup as your other locations, with internet ordered early around carrier lead times.
Yes. Firewalls at every location are managed centrally with the same security policy, so changes are applied consistently.
Yes. Support is available in Korean and English, and we coordinate directly with headquarters IT on standards, domains, and security policies.
It depends on the number of locations, rooms, users, and devices, the systems involved, and your security requirements. We review your properties and give you a written quote.
